This story is disappointing. Two Pennsylvania judges have sentenced thousands of juveniles to detention centers (aka: baby jail) since 2003. Many of the convicted were often sentenced for minor infractions. Why’d they do it? Because they received $2.6 million in kickbacks from the detention centers to keep them filled with “criminal teenagers” whether they deserved it or not. xtian: This is so Messed Up, Cha Cha Cha Scranton, PA once again shows how amazing of an area it truly is.  Mark A. Ciavarella Jr., and a colleague, Michael T. Conahan are such assholes they are willing to get rich from sending kids to youth detentions.
