I heart BoltBus
First time on a BoltBus, from Boston to New York. It’s clean, comfy, on-time, power outlets in your seat, free and working WI-Fi, and has a friendly driver. I am posting this from my seat while on 95-South in Connecticut. Booked the ticket only 1 day in advance for just 18 bucks. Compare this to a $100 train ticket. With no Internet.
I’m sure this does not bode well for an already troubled Amtrk. Just how do they expect to compete? Just adding Wi-Fi won’t do it. This bus ticket was 80% cheaper than a standard train ticket. Plus, check out the hot lightning bolt GFX on the side of this beast. We own the road!
