Recap of our car accident last night. haven’t called insurance yet. can’t wait to see how much this one costs. not really pissed though as we were insanely lucky to have walked away without a scratch  - considering we spun out and smashed the guard rail at that speed.
dpstyles:

Driving back from VT last night, JJ, me and Xtian hit a patch of ice at about 60 mph, fishtailed right, fishtailed left, hit the guardrail at full speed, spun 180 into facing traffic, then slid back across the highway landing into a snowbank. Terrifying.:
We hit the guard rail head on at full speed. No idea why the airbags didn’t deploy (maybe we actually hit at an angle?). We had about 2 seconds of looking right into the cars coming at us before we spun again and hit the snowbank on the other side of the road. We’re all okay. Car is a little banged up but was good enough to make it back to NYC. Headlights we’re shooting into the sky the whole ride and we left the foglamps somewhere in VT, but we’re all in one piece. Some nice folks pulled over immediately to see if we were okay, helped push the car a bit and then some guy with a huge pickup truck (Hemi!) dragged us out of the ditch. Lady said she saw us slide between two oncoming cars. I only saw one. Post crash transcript: J: “Everyone okay?” Xtian: “I’m okay” D: “I didn’t even spill my tea!”
